Stephanie graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A. in psychology and also earned a degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. After a 10-year career as a graphic designer, she went back to school to study biological science and chemistry at HCC and the USF. During that time she worked as a pharmacy technician (being a drug dealer was not as much fun as she had imagined it would be) and a medical assistant at an OB/gyn office (a little too much focus on women’s nether regions for her taste).

Obviously Stephanie has had a hard time figuring out what she wants to be when she grows up. But she knows for sure that she loves writing, it is the only “work” that she has ever done that she would gladly do for free.

She blogs regularly for Cafe Mom and Skirt!.and has contributed articles to the online magazine, When Falls The Coliseum. And, of course, her favorite thing is writing on this blog right here, Steph’s Best.

  1. Hi Steph! I didn’t realize my cousin had a blog. Very cool and I am enjoying reading it. I am Zack’s daughter who is Aunt Wah’s (what we call her) nephew. I hope to get to meet you one day. I remember John III (also what we call him) well but I think y’all had moved to Tampa by the time you were born. I have an accounting degree and my husband does not allow me to pay the bills so I can definitely relate to your Quick Books hell! Hang in there!
