The Dust Bowl, a documentary by Ken Burns
An interesting look at a man-made ecological F-up. http://t.co/jnr0Zhs7

The Dust Bowl

This documentary is a 2-part series which covers in great detail the events leading up to and during The Dust Bowl in the Great Plains area of the United States, which occurred at the same time–and partially due to–the Great Depression.
What I didn’t know before watching this documentary was that The Dust Bowl was the worst man-made ecological disaster in American history and that it lasted a decade.
